[Question #1724] HIV concern from Fingering and massage

Dear Doctor,

i went to a massage place, the lady gave me a handjob and was fingering my anus slowly. at the same time i was fingering her vagina and anus. she was very wet and i could feel her vaginal fluid. i was not inserting my fingers very deeply,
is there any HIV risk from this encounter?
i have checked my fingers that i used, no cuts only few paper cut, but no blood or anything obvious
is there any chance, even if its's an extremely minimal chance of contracting HIV from this encounter? or it's very safe with no risk at all?
do i need testing?

i'm married and concerned

thank you

Welcome back to the forum. However, you are asking a version of the same question that Dr. Hook answered in your other thread 3 months ago. He replied that fingering and other hand-genital contact, and body rubbing, do not transmit HIV. I agree, and this more recent encounter was zero risk for HIV. You do not need testing for HIV or any other STD. (Congratulations on limiting this exposure to safe sex, i.e. no penile exposure. Should you be tempted by that opportunity in the future, use condoms.)

Let me know if anything isn't clear. Best wishes and stay safe.

Thank you very much Dr for your quick reply. I'm trying to limit my encounter to safe sex as I'm married.
I do like massage, so in case I want to be involved in handjob and fingering only in the future, shall I always consider this as 100% safe sex and not putting my wife at risk?

Thank you

Yes, you can always consider such exposures as safe sex. They will not put your wife at risk.
