I have concern ragrding hiv and std.
I had an exposure with CSW in sept16.
I used condom for the veginal sex.
But since I lost erection in between i removed the condom using palm and with the same hand I touched my penis and foreskin immideatly.
Since the veginal fluid was there on the condom & i used the same hand to touch my genital, can i be infected for hiv and std.
After 3 months I developed red rashes on my right arm which disappeard with in 3 to 4 days. And since than feeling cronic fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetide, muscle pain & Body pain.
I have gone through 6 hiv test(3 rapid test,2 -3rd gen antibody hiv screening ECLIA method ,1- combo test p24 cmia method (at 8 month), inbetween 3 to 9 months of incedence which all are non-reactive
Tested for hep B,C,VDRL, siphilis, urine culture, CBC. also. All are non reactive
except CBC in which total leyucocytes count is 13700 and in absolute leucocyte count -neutrophills9.70thou/mm3,lymphocytes 3.22 thou/mm3 which are above normal range.
Now i Got red scratch like rash on my face after 10 months.
Seeing all the symptoms and CBC report should i go for further testing.would you suggest PCR test for Hiv.
Can i be amongst the seronegative persons who does not produce antibody for HIV because of their genitic reasons??
Do The test done in the private laboratory has its authenticity in india or it may be wrongly reported to avoid the process of reporting it to the local govt. Healthcare authority.??
I am in a bit of a panic so would appreciate some advice.
Thanks

Welcome back to our Forum.  I note that 3 months ago Dr. Handsfield told you  "Continue to work with your doctor If your symptoms continue or if you remain concerned about your mildly abnormal blood count (slightly high neutrophils). You don't need any additional testing for either HIV or hepatitis B. " and, when you asked, extended that assessment to hepatitis C as well. This is still the case.  These infections, as well as other STIs are not transmitted by the transfer of genital secretions on a person's hands when they then touch their genitals.  The exposure you have described was no risk and your tests have repeatedly proven this.  It is time for you to believe them.

For you to have a PCR test for HIV is a waste of time and money.  If you had HIV and no antibodies (which is very, very unlikely) your p24 antigen test would have been positive.

Please do not doubt your laboratory. You have had multiple different types of tests and they have all given the same result, proving that you do not have HIV, hepatitis B or C or other STI.  As Dr. Handsfield suggested earlier, I urge you to believe you tests and to work with your doctor to look for other reason for the symptoms you have.  You were not infected by the encounter in September that you have described and no amount of additional testing is going to change this.  I hope my comments are helpful to you.  EWH

Thanks Doctor for your kind support.
Will the Amount of fluid came in contact while removing condom and touching penis shaft and top immediatly after condom removal may change your openion.
Can this be anxiety which is giving me red rashes, weight loss, muscle pain, excessive sweating
Should i go for hsv1 and hsv2 test also??

The amount of fluid that touched your penis will not effect my assessment in any way.  This event has no known risk no matter how much fluid was involved.  you do not need testing for HSV-1 or 2.

I do not know if your symptoms are due to anxiety or not but they are not due to STD.  EWH

Dr,
Thanks for quick and kind support.
May I ask if you can explain why it's no risk?
I am feeling full body ace, weight loss, cronic fatigue since last 6 months (symptoms of ARS in hiv)
Can i start sexual relation with my wife without the fear of infecting her??

The basis of my statement, which is supported by categorical statements by the WHO and U.S. CDC, is that there have not been observed instances in which exposure to genital secretions has led to infection with HIV and, while the data are less extensive for other STIs.  You are not going to be the first person infected in this way.  Father your negative tests PROVE that you are no infected, whether or not the condom broke.  . For you to persist in these concerns is a waste of time and effort

You need to look for other reasons for your symptoms as I have already said.  Your anxiety and concerns may be contributing to your symptoms.

Please believe your test results.  They are reliable following your essentially no risk exposure.  I also need to remind you that since this is my third response, this will complete this thread which will be closed soon.  EWH
