[Question #2624] Herpes

Hi.
I recently had the following encounter with a CSW. Both of us were naked she was touching me on my penis and anus areas. She then sat down on my back totally nude and proceeded to slide up and down my back. She then startrd to suck my nipple but i immediately stoped her because i was worried about oral herpes. I then proceeded to rub my penis in between her breasts. There was too much friction so she spit on her hand and put the spit on her breasts to make slide more easy. I again stoppwd her bc im worried about oral herpes. My question is, am i at any risk for herpes or any other STI.
THANKS

I don't believe your experience presents any risk of any sexually transmitted infection, including herpes. Good for you for being extremely careful in your choice of sexual activities. Acquiring an STI requires a far different kind of contact than those that you had.

Just curious, what ive heard before that you can get HSV from saliva through sharing drinks. Why woild saliva on her breast be any different?

There are no documented cases of people getting herpes from sharing a drink but that rumor continues to bounce around out there.
The saliva on her breast would not present a risk for acquiring herpes, no.

Just to explain... before i stopped her she did put a bit of spit on her breasts and my penis did touch her breasts. So why would it be different then sharing a drink?

Just curious... if that is infact true that saliva and drink sharing doesnt spread herpes why is HSV1 so common. I was under tge impression its because as kids we share germs from others. What is the true reason why it is so common?

It is true that much HSV 1 is acquired in childhood - some of that is from direct contact between infected kids and uninfected kids in day care or school setting but probably more common is an adult with a cold sore kissing a child on the mouth.
I completely understand the contact that you had between her saliva and her breasts and your penis, This just doesn't present a risk for acquiring herpes from her.
