Drs,
I'm married with two kids. Another is on the way. Wife recieved urine test with low but present leukecites. Sti test was contaminated. Must redo.
10 days before test i met with csw. First time. I was crazy. Unprotected brief oral. No deep penatration. Maybe 2 minutes max. Left without ejaculating. I was sick with myself. Cried. Will never do again. Girl said she gets tested regularly and is open with dr about her job. No discharge. No pain. A little but could be too much masterbation.
Worried i gave wife sti. Why else the retest and wbc???

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for your question. My reply should be reassuring to you. The chance your wife has an STI related to your indiscretion 10 days ago is exceedingly low. Here's why:
At any point in time, even the most sexually active persons, including female sex workers, don't have any STI. Second, oral STIs are even less common. Third, most CSWs don't knowingly lie about STI status when asked directly, so her reassurance is useful and further lowers the risk. Fourth, oral sex is safe sex: all STDs are infrequently transmitted, and the risk is near zero for some. Fifth, if you had acquired an infection (gonorrhea, chlamydia) that could cause white blood cells (leukocytes) in your wife's urine, within 10 days you probably would have had symptoms, i.e. discharge of pus or mucus from the penis and/or painful urination. Finally, women in general, and pregnant women in particular, often get WBC in the urine from time to time. A non-STD urinary tract infection, or no infection at all, are more likely explanations than an STI.
To be clear, the risk that you were infected or that you transmitted something to your wife is not zero. But it is truly very low. I don't quite understand the business about your wife's STI test(s) being "contaminated": the main tests are done by DNA testing, which is not affected by contamination with other bacteria. However, that outcome says absolutely nothing about the possibility she actually has an STI.
So you can expect your wife's repeat STI test(s) to be negative. To be maximally safe, you also should have a urine test to check for gonorrhea and chlamydia. For all the reasons above, you can expect negative results.
So try to relax; I'm pretty sure this will all turn out OK. I'll be happy to comment further if you'd like to return with a comment to report your wife's final STI test results, and ideally your own as well. But do stay mellow in the meantime. I expect them all to be negative.
I hope this has been helpful and reassuring. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Went to the doctor, he said testing stis in married men is most common thing he does, go figure. He said he only new 1 case in his career in 3 countries of sti in a man's penis from an infected mouth, i guess there are many like me.

dr,
can I ask a follow up ? it has been 2.5-3 days since my urine test and no calls, so I guess that's good, but reading online I learned that you need to hold your pee for 3hrs before the test, I only waited 1 hr before, so should I redo the test and hold my pee for 3 hours to be sure?

Sorry for the delay in answering yesterday's follow-up questions.

I'm not sure what your concern is about urine specimens (in women) easily being contaminated. That's true, but I don't see how it's relevant in your wife's case unless she has had a urine culture that was reported as contaminated. In any case, it has no bearing on diagnosing an STI if she were to have one. It sounds like your doctor has quite a bit of STI experience, which means you can trust his advice, interpretation of test results, etc. And it is apparent your doctor and I are in agreement about the relatively low STI risk from receiving oral sex. Shows what a bright guy he is!
It often takes several days for labs to report test results; hearing nothing after 2-3 days probably says nothing about the likelihood of negative or positive results. Although official advice from test producers is to wait 1-2 hours (I've never heard of 3 hours) since last voiding, it really isn't necessary. Most STD clinics, including mine, pay no attention to this issue. It makes no significant difference im test performance. For the reasons already discussed, you can expect your results to be negative; and for those results to be reliable regardless of how recently you urinated before providing the specimen. You won't need to retest.

Sorry for delayed reply to this last comment. Gonorrhea/chlamydia test results take a day or two, sometimes up to 5 working days. Most of that time is not actual test performance (which takes an hour or two), but the time for transport of specimen to the lab and conveying results back to the clinic ro doctor.
