[Question #2722] Strip Club extremely scared of any STI that is passed.

1. I am male , 27 Yrs. Went to a strip club and got a lap dance. Entire Lap dance lasted for about 7-8 minutes.  During this time the the stripper let me touch her groin/vaginal area and her breasts. I gently massaged the area, my fingers could have possibly slightly gone inside her vagina(but only slightly. I am positive i did not insert them because its not allowed there ). She then touched my penis for few seconds and asked me to masturbate myself . I masturbated with the same hand and used my fingers. I went back home and masturbated few more times .

My fingers nails at the bottom tip  are not the neatest (at the part where the nail ends and the rest of the finger start ). I have very  tiny cuts , not big enough to bleed.

It was nearly an hour before I realized that I didn't wash my hands  and immediately washed every body part.

2. I brushed lightly around her groin/vaginal area with my face for 3-5 seconds.
3. I do not know if she has any STI ...
4. I have not felt any sores around her vagina area or anywhere when caressing her vaginal area.
5. This is my 3rd day and I am feeling just fine .no issue so far.

I am very scared if I may have gotten any STI , especially Herpes or HIV.
Am I at risk of contacting any STI ?
1.Is there any chance that if she did have genital Herpes , that would have passed on to my finger and to my penis.
2. Should I be worrying about any other STI including HIV , or others.
3. Do  I need any tests done .

I don't feel that you need testing for any STI, including herpes, due to this encounter, no.  Herpes isn't that easy to transmit, despite what you might read.  The type of contact that you had is just not really sufficient for transmission.  Obviously, if you develop any sort of blistering on your fingers, you would want to check that out but I would be completely and absolutely stunned if anything at all developed from this encounter.  it sounds to me like you were extremely careful with this encounter.  Good job!

Hi thanks for your reply. My updates So far.

1.  I just noticed a small black compressed crest with slight redness surrounding and slightly prickles when touched. Located exactly under my waistline on my right thigh , nearly at perpendicular angles to my genitals. ( at an angle where gents have their pockets ). I am hoping it was due to wearing a slightly tight pant and some sitting stress leading to it and not herpes. I did not have it in the morning while going to work and found it in the evening after coming home.
2. I researched AIDS Vancouver if I should be worried about anything about HIV and the results are in line with you.
3. Called STI clinic and asked them about my encounter  .They said no HIV , unlikely of herpes but can be a possibility since technically/theoretically my lips could have toucher her vagina.
4. Went to minute clinic and asked the nurse ,she said don't worry about it .
5. Even Went to the strip club  again and asked the  same stripper if she was clean with out HIV, Herpes ? She said "touch wood she is fine" and blessed me.
6. Im using Johnson's bandaid for fingers and they seem alright so far.

I know im very very cautious ,as that was my first very close encounter. Should I be worried about this spot or get any testing ?

I honestly don't think you need to worry about the spot either.  It's OK to be cautious, just don't get obsessed.
