Hi, again
I forgot to about LGV? Would my gc/ct naat swabs pick up LGV too? I dont expirienced any symptoms. Is possible have throat infection of lgv and passed on by cunnilingus to my wife?
Is fingering my self during exporuse risk of lgv rectal infection, If there was trace of precum in my fingers?
No symptoms of rectal lgv also. I have suffer hemmorhoids before exposure and after it. But it goes away and go back time to time. Because of my hemmorhoids i was done colonscopy 1 year after exposure and it was clean, no inflamation even biopsys.
Exposure was taken place in italy If that matters.

I'm sorry you felt the need to return to the Forum. Your questions suggest that you continue to be anxious and perhaps that you are spending too much time on the internet looking for information about STIs and STI risk. That is a bad idea- the internet is a great means of communication but it is a bad place to go for medical information. Statements made there are often taken out of context, mis-interpreted or just plain wrong.
LGV is a type of chlamydia and is reliably detected by NAATs tests. You have proven that you do not have LGV or any other chlamydial infection..
No STIs are transmitted from person to person on a person's hands, even when genital secretions are present on the hands and fingers.
You have proven that you did not get an STI from the exposure you described. I strongly advise you to relax and move on without concern. EWH

LGV occurring in the throat is very rare. The correct place to test for it however is in the back of the throat. EWH

The results that you mention have been obtained at times when results are definitive. Presuming that each result is negative, you have proven that you do not have HIV, hepatitis B, or syphilis.
This is my third response to your questions. Thus, as per Forum Guidelines, the thread will now be closed. I urge you to put your concerns behind you and move forward. EWH

Your questions are repetitive and will not change the answer. I have alreqady told you that the appropriate and correct specimens were obtained. Given your inability to move forward, I must remind you that the forum does
not permit repeated anxiety driven questions by the same users. This will have
to be your last one; future new questions on this topic will be deleted without
reply and without refund of your posting fee. This policy is based on
compassion, not criticism, and is designed to reduce temptations to keep paying
for questions with obvious answers; because experience shows that continued
answers tends to simply prolong such anxieties, when the real answer normally
should be professional counseling; and because such questions have little
educational value for other users, one of the forum's main purposes. I trust
you will understand. EWH
