Dear Dr I have mainly cunnilingus ( about one minutes ) and deep kissing, finally only one minutes vaginal sex ( with condom..) with an russian escort nearly 5 months ago ...
1 - After 11 days from the exposure I had STI test ( gardneralla vaginalis, ureplasma , mycoplasma, candida, trichomanas vaginals, gonorrhoeae, chlamydia.... ) from penis swab...all off them negative
2 - after 15 days I had Hiv rna pcr negative test
2 - after 15 days I had Hiv rna pcr negative test
3 - After 3,4,6,8,12,16 and 20 weeks ( nearly 5 months ) Anti Hiv 1/2 +p24 antigen test..All of them wre negative.
4 - After 3,5 months HbsAg and Anti Hcv test results were negative
5 - After 3,5 monts STI test ( gardneralla vaginalis, ureplasma , mycoplasma, candida, trichomanas vaginals, gonorrhoeae, chlamydia, HSV 1, HSV 2, HPV ) throat swap test..All of them were negative..
6 - After 3,5 months TPHA and VDRL test for syphlis..Resuls were negative...
According to my negative results and test dates
1 - Am I totally free from Hiv
2 - Do I need retest (for example after 6 months from the exposure )
3 - nearly all sources says 3 months is enough for hiv testing..But some doctors insist for 6 months...What is your view...İf I should retest after one month ( to complete 6 monts period ) pls tell me is there any possiblty that my negative test result can change or not..I'm afraid of this...I can not sleep...I have bad psychology..Because I waited 3 months to be sure..waiting for three months is rude for me...And now If I'll wait one more month, I would like to learn the chance of my test result stay the same or can change

Welcome to our Forum. You can be completely confident that you did not acquire HIV or any other STI from the exposure you have described. STIs are not transmitted through kissing, even deep kissing, condom protected genital sex is very, very low risk, and similarly, there is little risk for STIs from cunnilingus. since your exposure you have now repeatedly proven that you did not acquire HIV of oany other STIs. There is no need for further testing. You can now move forward with complete confidence that you did not acquire any STI or HIV from the exposure you describe.
1 - Am I totally free from Hiv
Yes, this was proven by your negative PCR test at 15 days as well as your combination HIV antigen/antibody test take at 6, 8,12,16 and 20 weeks after the exposure. Further testing is a waste of time and money.
2 - Do I need retest (for example after 6 months from the exposure )
No. absolutely not.
3 - nearly all sources says 3 months is enough for hiv testing..But some doctors insist for 6 months...What is your view.
What I am about to say is not a "view" but a summary of the result of many scientific studies. In the past when antibody tests were the only mechanism to test for HIV, the standard recommendation was that tests were not definitive until 3 months had pasted since an exposure of concern. That is no longer the case because tests have improved (even tests for antibodies only). Any recommendation that tests are not definitive until 3 months had passed are out of date and no longer accurate.
I hope these comments are helpful. Take care. EWH

The majority of persons have had CMV infection in the past. Prior CMV infection as indicated by the presence of CMV IgG would not affect the window period for HIV test results. EWH
