[Question #3014] Red irritation in Meatus

Hello,

After a sex session  2 and a half weeks after I started feeling my balls swelling, muscle pain, stinging while peeing, I have taken 1 doze of Azethromizin - which made all the symptoms go away, and after 3 days the symptoms returned. with an additional irritation inside the middle of the penis. Then i have taken metronidazole and some of the irritation went away, but redness inside meatus appeared - which you can see. irritation goes away after i put coconut cream on it, some days less some days more.. There is stinging when peeing only in the morning. During the day feels normal and sometime there is pain in tip of penis during ejaculation and sometimes there isn't.
The balls swelling slowly goes away..
Was feeling fatigue in some days, and eyes were red, now goes away, not sure if it's related or a reaction to the antibiotics.

After I'm peeing there is two or 3 drops after (if i don't shake it properly).
Tested negative for (HIV, Gono, Chlamydia), but I did the test after the antibiotics sessions, all other blood urine culture/seme culture tests are negative..
What do you think i have / what should i do?

Welcome to our forum. I will try to help.   Taking antibiotics without the benefit of tests before hand often creates confusion and makes providing care far more difficult. The symptoms you describe could be an STI called epididymitis.  If this were the case the azithromycin new truck could be curative.  The fact that your initial tests for STI's were negative could reflect an effect of the azithromycin which suppressed  The infection until there was no more antibiotic in your system. Presuming that you are no longer taking antibiotics, my advice is to see a physician who can examine you and repeat your tests for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and other STIs.    At the same time you should request an examination and evaluation for other possible causes of your discomfort. 2 quick follow up questions:
Can STDs be found in Semen culture/Urine culture?
Does it have any effect on any other parameter in blood urine exam except for the specific PCR exam?

Yes, both urine and ejaculate can be tested for STI's. However specific test need to be done not a routine culture.

I am sorry, I do not follow your 2nd question.  Please clarify.  EWH
