[Question #3188] Herpes risk

Hello three weeks ago I had protected vaginal and oral sex with a random girl which I do not know her status. Let’s assume she has herpes. The sex lasted no more than 5 minutes. I pulled up my pants after with the condom on and left. While I was driving away I pulled the condom off and pulled my pants up. When I got home I seen fluid on my underwear that most likely came into contact with my penis. What is my risk? I started feeling sick for two weeks but no Genital symptoms. Today, I started feeling lower back pain and random pains on both legs and thighs. Could this be herpes??

I think the fact that you used condoms for both oral sex and intercourse, your risk just isn't there.  The fluid on your underwear could easily be semen from you.  And fluid that came from her would likely have been dried up and not be worrisome for transmission of herpes.  without sores, I do not have concerns about your low back pain or pain in the legs and thighs.

Terri, I wanted to add that lately when i urinate I look in the toilet and it looks like spit is floating around. Does this sound herpetic? It doesn’t hurt or burn when I urinate. What could this be??

It does not sound herpetic, no.  It could be a little mucous or semen?  If you are not having urethral discharge that you can see in your shorts, I am not concerned about other STI's either.

It’s looks more like mucous with bubbles floating around as well. Maybe I’m just over observing but I think everything freaks me out right now.
