I must preface this question by saying that I have OCD. With that being said, I am currently in therapy receiving treatment, but I believe that information from a sexual health expert may help with one of my symptoms. I have fears related to pregnancy when I masturbate and have erections. I fear that when I either masturbate or have an erection, the semen or pre-ejaculate could cause a female to become pregnant. A typical scenario is as follows: I am at home and I masturbate or have an erection, thereby emitting semen or pre-ejaculate. I get some of the semen or pre-ejaculate onto my hand. I wash my hands, but I either do not wash well enough, or somehow transfer the semen or pre-ejaculate to another object and then back to my hands (for example, the faucet handles when I turn them on and off). Either way, the result is that I still have wet semen or pre-ejaculate on my hands. I then immediately leave the house and go someplace where there are lots of people. I touch an object such as a door handle, transferring the semen or pre-ejaculate onto it. Or I reach into my pocket to get some money and my hand contacts some of the residual wet semen or pre-ejaculate that has soaked into my underwear and pants from masturbating or having an erection at home. Again, both of these scenarios result in wet semen or pre-ejaculate being transferred to objects like the door handle or the money. Next, a female touches the door handle, or is the recipient of the money (for example, I’m buying something at a store). The wet semen or pre-ejaculate is now transferred to the female’s hand. The female then goes to use the washroom, or reaches into her pocket to get something, or goes home and masturbates. It doesn’t matter exactly how it happens. The result is that the semen or pre-ejaculate has been transferred to or near her reproductive area. Is it possible for pregnancy to occur in the ways described above?
