[Question #3328] Sharp pain in penis

Hi Drs,
I understand that you can review my previous questions, with the details of my exposure. Im now with >4 months from csw exposures, and major symptoms susidied. Now Im facing dermatitis (in the face) and foliculites/pimples in face/lips/scalp and some in the body.
The main reason to post a new question is because I had a completely new symptom, and would like your evalution.
I few days ago I was masturbating myself and, during ejaculation, I felt a very sharp and intense pain in my penis. From that day, the pain is becoming less and less intense, but i still can feel disconfort today (5 days after). I tried to monitor if the pain cames when urinating, but it does not. Also, I masturbate once again, and no pain.  In the other hand, I feel pain now (very sharp, like a needle) when I do some movements (cant reproduce it, Injust feel it during some points of the day). Also I cant see any lesion in my penis, and also cant feel exactly where the pain comes from. Does this sound like a STD to you? Appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

Welcome back to the Forum.  Your new symptom is unrelated to the very low risk exposure we have corresponded about in the past.  The sort of pain you are describing is not in the least suggestive of any STI, both in terms of its nature and related to the fact that it is now intermittent.  Rather, your symptoms are suggestive of a traumatic injury or irritation to your penis.  I anticipate the it will improve with time.  If it does not, then I would suggest you see a urologist.

There is no need for STI or HIV testing related to the symptoms that you describe.

I hope this comment is helpful.  EWH

Hi Dr Hook,
The pain diminished, but it still kind of sensisitve. Maybe I should have a break of sex/masturbation to have it fully healed.
I have another question, another symptom that ocurred at same time, but thought it was nothing and didnt write about it. Im feeling something in the back of my mouth/throath, but cant see what it is. It feels like I have something stuck there, something scratching. It passed now like 20 days with this feeling, and I guess if would be some rest of food it would have gone aeay already.  Is this consistent with any sti? I did had deep kissing in the mentioned exposure.
Appreciate your oponion.
Thank you,

I'm pleased that the discomfort that you are experiencing has diminished.  Certainly taking a break from masturbation could help reduce irritation and promote healing.  I would encourage you to hold off masturbation for a few days.

As for the sensation you are experiencing in your mouth, the first step is to have a knowledgeable clinician or a dentist take ca look into the back of your throat.   Certainly the sensation that you describe however is not suggestive of any STI.  EWH
