[Question #3388] Risk of HIV

I had sex with a bar girl last week(6 nights back) in Thailand. This was my first sexual act ever. I had sex thrice and used condom each time. The condoms did not slip. I filled water later to check if there was any leakage after use. No water leakage in used condoms.
Is there any risk if we rubbed our organs before sex and before putting condom? I had condom on all time during vaginal penetration.
I had brief oral sex where I licked her vagina for 15 sec maximum. She also received my penis but no condom(no ejaculation). No bleeding gum/cuts in my mouth and i did not brush before sex. I had very small mouth ulcer(next morning I think,I don't remember exactly when i got it but it was not before meeting her). But it was not red at all or irritating. I am very worried if I should get tested and which test? HIV P24? I have read it can give results after 14 days which means next week for me. I need to put end to my fears ASAP. Please help!
The act of oral sex was before the three acts of vaginal sex.
Is there any risk if we rubbed our organs before sex and before putting condom? I had condom on all time during vaginal penetration.
I see no fever/cold after this. Just one itching area on my arm which also went away ( might be a mosquito bite I am not sure).
I also asked before and after sex if she had HIV to which she said no. But when she showed me condoms in her purse she keeps for safety I had some faith in her. But still I am worried.
I feel very guilty all time and should never do this again!

Welcome to the Forum. I'll be glad to comment. Just to summarize, you had sex with a single partner who performed unprotected oral sex on you, you had three episodes of condom protected genital sex and you briefly licked her vagina. You do not know that she had HIV and statistically, it is likely that she did not. Even if she did, the actions you describe are virtually no risk for HIV and do not require HIV testing. There is no known risk for HIV from receipt of unprotected oral sex, from perfroming oal sex on a woman, or from condom protected genital sex when condoms are used properly as you have described. The other non-penetrative activities you describe similarly do not place you at risk for STIs, including HIV either.
There is a small risk of acquiring STIs such as gonorrhea or non-gonococcal urethritis from the receipt of unprotected oral sex but these problems are typically symptomatic. As you indicate you do not have symptoms, I would say that while you may wish to get tested, it is not essential in your situation.
I hope these comments are helpful. EWH
