I was diagnosed with chlamydia yesterday but scheduled for vertical sleeve gastrectomy tomorrow.  Does this mean i cant have surgery?

Welcome to the Forum.  I presume that when you were diagnosed with chlamydia you were treated with an approved therapy.  If the therapy was azithromycin, you are fine.  If the treatment was started with doxycycline (the other approved medication for chlamydial infections), you will need to continue therapy to complete the course of medication over the post-operative period.   As long as your infection has been treated (even within the past 24-48 hours) and the infection is not complicated, I see no contraindication to your vertical sleeve gastrectomy tomorrow.

I hope this helps. If there further details that you wish to share or further questions, please feel free to follow-up.  EWH
