[Question #3459] Going Paranoid!!! Please Help

Hello Dr

About 3 weeks back i went to a massage parlour in dubai...the massuese was a well built morroccan... I was lying down on my stomache looking at the wall... Not looking at her... In the first 10 seconds she put some unusual pressure with her fingers and hand which is worrying me now as to whether did she prick me with an HIV needle injection and i did not understand the prick due to the pressure.

I know how injection feels and have been blood tested several times.

Is it possible that she injected me and i wouldnt feel it? My nervous system is intact i can feel the slightest pain.

Also i did not see any visible prick hole or bruise or pain later when i got back to my hotel.

I m paranoid cos exactly 3 weeks after this massage visit i am now down with cold infection headache and light fever.

I do not want to test for HIV or STDs cause that would feed my irrational OCD thoughts all the more.

I just want to know from the pain and bruise standpoint - Is it possible that she injected me and i wouldnt feel it or have a bruise? Do all injection pricks feel the same or similar and i couldnt have missed it if she pricked me?

Welcome back to our Forum.  I'll be glad to comment.  I find it virtually unbelievable that a masseuse would intentionally stick you with a needle to infect you with HIV.  Why would anyone do such a thing?  What would be gained.

I am confident that if you had been stuck with a needle you would have known it (the sensation is not subtle), the stick would have left visible blood or a bruise, and there would be a puncture mark at the site if the needle stick.

There is no need for concern.  I agree with you that there is no need for testing.  I hope these comments are helpful to you.  EWH

One quick followup question!!

I have been getting this ticklish feeling inside the penis since 3 days now its a sweet feeling, but its kind of taking my attention and irritating.

I have hsv 1 & 2.

There is no burning during urination nor pain, just ticklish during urination.

I have had no sexual risks past 1 year of any kind apart from a handjob at a massage parlour and i have been well tested for all stds.

What could this be? When i googled it threw things like Multiple Sclerosis, diabetic neuropathy, chlamydia, gonnorhea, prostatis, urethritis, etc.

Your experience can guide me in the right direction.

GOOGLE and the internet are not your friend here.   They will mislead you in the direction of awful things.  My guess is that your concern over this encounter have caused you focus on possible genital sensations.  When people do this, it is not at all uncommon to become aware of normal sensations that otherwise go in-noticed.  these sensations are most typically experienced as light tickles or mild itching.  EWH
