Welcome to the Forum. Please don't worry about this,  You are not the first person to receive oral sex roughly and be left with some residual scraping or marks.  Even with rough sex, receipt of oral sex is a no risk event.  There is no reason for concern or even for testing- the encounter you describe was a no risk event for HIV.  EWH

thank you doctor for your response, I did some research that I would like to share with you 1-HIV is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead. (MEDHELP MODERETORS) 2-Getting your penis sucked is not a HIV risk, saliva is not infectious, it also contains over a dozen elements that neutralize HIV. There hasn’t been a single documented case of HIV transmission to an insertive partner (the person being "sucked") and you will not be the worlds first.(POZ FORUMS) 3-A number of studies have shown that whole saliva protects susceptible cells against HIV infection. Several inhibitory components in oral secretions have been described:1
  • HIV-specific antibodies: neutralise and inactivate virus.
  • Complement: in conjunction with fibronectin, binds to and sediments virus.
  • Cystatins: perform general antimicrobial activity; inhibit cysteine proteases.
  • Defensins: perform general antimicrobial activity; block virus entry.
  • Lactoferrin: binds iron to inhibit bacterial growth.
  • Lactoperoxidase: inactivates virus through hypothiocyanite production.
  • Lysozyme: lyses bacteria.
  • Mucins: entrap and aggregate viral particles.
  • Secretory leucocyte protease inhibitor (SLPI): prevents virus entry into host cells.
  • Thrombospondin: aggregates virus; blocks virus-CD4 interactions during virus entry.  ( AIDSMAP)
You cannot get HIV this way. Anyone who is receiving a blowjob is not at risk. You also cannot get HIV from giving a woman oral sex. (I BASE)
"Please get this straigth, if there is no sex with penile penetretion into another person´s vagina or rectum, there is no risk for HIV.Period.Oral sex is NO risk, even with out a condom" (Dr HH)
So doctor after all this information, I should remain calm, I truly DONT believe that all this information that they match, would be wrong at least I dont believe so. And one final question doctor, from the rash that was cause by her at the moment of reciving oral sex, would´t that be a posible entry point for hiv ??? thanks doctor

Sorry, I missed your question as it was buried in your repeat of information I am aware of and is, in part, the basis of my repeated statements that there is no risk of HIV from receipt of HIV.  Further, in my original reply, I stated "You are not the first person to receive oral sex roughly and be left with some residual scraping or marks.  Even with rough sex, receipt of oral sex is a no risk event.  There is no reason for concern or even for testing- the encounter you describe was a no risk event for HIV."  This included that any "rash" present aat the time of your interaction would not change my advice or assessment- still absolutely no risk.  EWH

thank you doctor, as part of my research I found a coments like "There has never been a proven case from receipt of oral sex" or "In 40 years of the epidemic, no one has gotten hiv from reciving oral sex" and confident that is true, but I rather ask YOU that probably have treated hundreds of patients, have you ever come across someone, on my situation (reciving oral sex) that turn out to be hiv+ ? I know this would be the last time we interact,Igreatly apreciett your time and advise, I will test and put this behind me

I am sorry that you were still concerned. No, I have never encountered a patient anywhere or at any time in whom it appears that HIV has been acquired from receipt of oral sex.  I am pleased that you have decided to get tested because I am confident that this will show that you were not infected. At that time I hope that you will be able to move on without further concerns.

As you point out,  as this is my third reply to your questions, this thread will be closed later today. Take care. EWH
