I have recently started a girl that has genital H1.  As I kid I had a few cold sores and many canker sores.  I presume I have H1 orally.  Is it possible for her to transmit H1 to my genitals?  I am being tested to confirm I have H1.  Ideally we could have unprotected sex and oral sex without risk. 

In this case, I would go with your history of cold sores which is more reliable than the IgG test for HSV 1.  The test misses 30% of HSV 1 so if it is negative, that is not meaningful.  If you indeed have HSV 1 orally, which it sounds like you do, it is extremely unlikely that you will acquire HSV 1 genitally, that is correct.
