Welcome to our Forum. I'll try to help. First some background comments.
1. Your penis entered her vagina, thus this was penetrative sex and, places you at risk for acquisition of STIs, including HIV.. While your exposure was brief, currently available data do not factor in the duration of exposure so penetration is penetration. That said, your encounter was brief and if your partner was infected, this may lower your risk.
2. Statistically, your partner did not have HIV or other STIs. Most people, even those who are considered "risky", do not. if she had anything, it is more likely that she had a classical STI like chlamydia or gonorrhea than HIV.
3. Even if she was infected, most single exposures to infected partners do not lead to infection.
Your HIV test is not considered conclusive until 6 weeks (42 days) have passed since the exposure. Despite this, at 4 weeks, 99% of persons who acquired HIV will have developed positive tests. If I were you I would be comfortable with the results you have and not feel the need for further testing even though your result was not technically conclusive.
I would suggest however that, if you were not, that it would be good to have a test for chlamydia and gonorrhea if you have not already had one. These infections are much more common than HIV and can be asymptomatic.
I hope these comments are helpful to you. EWH

hi doctor thank you for your answer so I went and did the HIV test yesterday and it was negative yesterday was exactly 42 days which is 6 weeks so can I consider this as being conclusive I just want to make sure I'm about to get married in 5 weeks so I just want to be sure that I am ok some websites like the CDC say that it is not conclusive until 12 weeks why is that and should I still be concerned

Yes, your result will be entirely conclusive. I anticipate that it will be negative for all of the reasons mentioned above. further, CDC is being overly conclusive. Please don't worry. EWH

hello. I just have one more question what are the possibilities of a fourth generation test not picking up HIV infection after 6 weeks and is an 8 weeks fourth generation test 100% if not at what point is it on 100% thank you your answer would be much appreciated

Your follow-up as I read it is a bit repetitive. Admittedly no test is perfect however the CDC and other experts agree that a 6 week combination HIV antigen/antibody test is conclusive. Since your 6 week result will be conclusive, it is logical that your 8 week result will be as well. If I were you I would accept the 6 week result and not worry further however if you are nervous and repeat the test I am confident that it will again be negative, proving that you do not have HIV.
This is my 3rd reply to your questions and therefore, as per Forum guidelines, completes this thread which will be closed without further answers in a few hours. Take care. EWH
