[Question #4080] Confusion

10 months ago I had a protected sex with a CSW in south korea. i donot know about the situation of condom at the end. She brings open condom from a box containing lubricant and she wore a condom in my penis with her mouth and give blowjob for 1 min. there is no any deep kissing, just once in lips.

With in a four days i have dizziness,headache, sore throat,muscle weakness, back pain and nausea. After one week i have a mouth sores. Day by days symptoms arised. But i did not have fever but my body feels like hot. The temperature is 36.5 degree Celsius. With in 1 month i have a strong nausea with headache, but no vomiting if i tried to vomit too. 45 days after encounter I have a extremly white tongue with burning sensation. Then i have a swollen glands below the jaw,right one is big and left one is little small than right one and no sign of going back upto now. After 3 months i have a swollen node just behind the right ear, pain in right ear causing pressure in right ear, feels like gases comes to out from the ear. then after one month click click sound comes from right ear. Now click click sound comes within both ears. and I can control the sound if i take a rest. With in two months i have all symptoms of hiv expect fever. Still i have pimples like things in my neck, face and back. Now have symptoms but frequently mouth sores. I have a white tongue now, i had scarp my tongue 4 times a day,still white. I feel like high gas pressure in my head now and if i take a rest or sleep, the pressure decreases automatically. I donot have swollen tonsils upto now.

I had done a several test regarding this issue. I have test hiv 5 times all came negative. I did std pane III test after 5 months of exposure. All comes negative expect herpes I (5.84 IgG value), prevotella species, Group B streptococcus and corny-bacterium species. I did treatment for these 3 species and they are removed. I think herpes only cannot cause these symptoms. Herpes was transmitted to me that means some other pathogens are also transmitted to me. Will you believe it?

I know I donot have Hiv but what pathogen causes this to me? I found thousands peoples are in internet having similar symptoms like as me without any solution. Some time I feel like if I have hiv rather than this pathogen I will take medicine and make a longer life.

What you want to say about me? Anything is appreciable.

I am a healthy guy before encounter and i had a small warts like in penis. Sex is protected vaginal (not anal). i had done HPV high and low screening pcr, HPV typing pcr. Results in both tests are negative.

IWel;come to the Forum. I'll try to help. The testing you have had is helpful for proving that you DO NOT have gonorrhea, chlamydia, Mycoplasma genitalium, HSV-2, syphilis, hepatitis A, B or C or HIV. this is the result I would have anticipated from the low risk exposure you have described. I would not worry further about STIs from this exposure. Your lymph node swelling may have resulted from the sort of viral infection that persons acquire from time to time through their activities of daily living and, sometimes, from kissing. Either way however, these problems are rarely serious although they can be a nuisance and simply need to run their course since there is no treatment for them. I presume you have seen your own doctor and he or she has said much the same thing.

Your white tongue is a problem we hear about form time to time on the Forum. Typically if it is not thrush which does not sound the case for you, this is a benign process. Sometimes smoking can make it worse. If you feel you need further evaluation you could see a dentist or oral ear, nose and throat specialist.

Bottom line however, I would not worry that this is an STI. I hope that my comments are helpful.. EWH

I think this is a new pathogen which is created by some lab to earn money later. This pathogen causes systematic effect to me like one after another. I am sure that this is a STI (i donot know this is serious one or little bit serious, time will tell that one) whatever your thought is.

I donot smoke and left to drink alcohol after encounter.

I know I will not get satisfactory answer from you. I will request you and other doctors to talk about this type of unknown STI in conference or general meeting. Many STI specalist may face patient complaning these types of symptoms.

You can think that i am mentally ill but thousands of people are living with this type of STI without knowing which pathogen cause this disease and waht are the treatments.

I hope so one day one solution will discoverd.

I have some questions to you;

1. Do you believed that these symptoms are caused by mutant aggressive hiv?

2. Do you believed that there are many virus or pathogen which is not discovered till now?

3. I had tested std panel II, no exact known cause, furthermore which test should i have to perform?

4. Will STI specalist arise these types of cases in conference of STI specalists? Or they simply talk about know STIs?

I had tested white tongue issue to dentist,he said its normal and this is not oral thrush. My STI doctor accept later that is a fungi.

I test neck throat nose, he said everything is fine. My ear testing is also very good. I donot know from where click click sound is coming to my ear. Mysteries are happening. Very clever unknown pathogen.

I'm sorry you disagree with my assessment but that, of course is your right. We are going to have to agree to disagree and I accept that you have a different opinion than we do here and that differ from the answers you have received from several other trained physicians. Perhaps you have professional training that differs from ours.

In answer to your specific questions:

No.

2. Do you believed that there are many virus or pathogen which is not discovered till now?

Yes. Most of those viruses cause self limited disease, if any. Nothing you have said suggests ANY infection.

I see no need for further testing.

4. Will STI specalist arise these types of cases in conference of STI specalists? Or they simply talk about know STIs?

STI specialists are always considering the possibility of new infections and pathogens. Again, nothing that you describe however raises concerns for any STI, known or unknown for me. EWH
