Hello, Unfortunately, I received unprotected oral sex 7 days ago for no longer than 1 minute.. about 24 hours afterwards, (at least I noticed it after 24 hours, could’ve started sooner) I noticed several very small bumps on the head of my penis. It looks pretty much exactly like the pictures I’ve seen of balanitis. About 3-4 days afterwards, I started getting an ache/burning sensation on the right side of my penis, radiating to my right testicles and down my right leg. This ache was steady over the next 2 days. I looked up the symptoms of genital herpes and although i see no bumps or sores yet, I noticed that what I'm feeling is listed is a very early herpes symptom before sores appear. As you can probably guess, the stress and anxiety has been absolutely crushing me and it has affected me greatly, and reading the internet and seeing the same symptoms made it much worse. As of today, the pain in my leg is gone, but there is still a slight dull pain on the right side of my penis shaft. I still have not yet seen anything that looks like a sore anywhere on my genitals.

The only issue the balanitis is causing, other than being unsightly, is some slight itching. I have no pain on the head of my penis, and there is no pain when urinating. I’ve been using Lotrimin to treat it over the past 3 days.  If it doesn’t clear up, I will make an appt with my doctor.

My question is do you think this could be herpes? And of not, what else could it be?
