Dear Sir,

A very Good Morning to you.In continuation to my post via Question #4138(if you could please look into the old query once to recall me.I am from India,Kolkata, Male, 34 years),as per advised by you I have taken test for syphilis(V.D.R.L Slide test) and HIV 1& 2(HIV AG& Ab Combo Test) on 42nd day from date of protected vaginal sex(insertive) with the spa girl.As you didn't suggested any other tests,I didn't took anymore test. The act of protected vaginal sex (insertive)took place on 17th July'2018 with the spa girl and today I took the test on 28th August'2018(exact 42 days i.e 6 weeks) and below are the results.

Since we don't have attachment to attach here hence I am writing whatever is there in the report.

1)Test Name :Detection of HIV p24 antigen and antibodies to HIV type  1 and/or type 2(HIV Ag/Ab Combo test)

Test Result :Non reactive

(Chemiluminescent Microparticle Immunoassay (CMIA))(Architect, Abbott)

2)Test Name: V.D.R.L. SLIDE TEST

Test Result: Non reactive

Sir below are my questions:

1)Can I take my result for HIV 1 and HIV 2 and VDRL as conclusive,?When I read internet it is full of false and different opinions on testing window for HIV(scaling from 1/2/3/6 months to even 1 year) and VDRL( scaling from 3- 6 weeks to 3 months), hence I get tensed. Now I only believe on your opinion, as you’r the last person to whom I have landed.

2)Is the HIV test as mentioned above is a truly 4th generation test. When I asked lab technician he said it's done in one f the advance machine, not sure what is machine here is it CMIA or Abott? How good is it's detection power,Sir?Is this machine standard every where for e.g .in US/Singapore/India?Reason I ask you is because as you know India is not as developed as US in terms of medical and technology.

3)Sir do you need me to do any further test in any span of time for any other STDs(like HBSAg/HCV/HSV) for sake of window period of the spa girl(I know you said odds are very low)?

Kindly note per regard to last post I had tested the spa girl for blood test of HBsAg/HCV/HIV1&2(4th generation(Ag/AB combo test) on 22nd July'2018 and she was negative on all.

Earnestly waiting for your reply and feedback.

Regards

K

These questions are exactly the same ones you asked and that were answered in your other thread, in different words. The answers have not changed. Very briefly:

1) Yes, these test results are conclusive. The truth of the window period for the 4th generation (antigen-antibody) HIV test and the VDRL for syphilis both are 6 weeks.

2) The reliability of the 4th generation tests probably is pretty much the same regardless of the test manufacturer or the medical sophistication of the society or city where testing is done.

3) You don't need any more tests of any kind at any time.

You came to the forum for our reasoned, science based reassurance. Why are you rejecting it? It's time for you to move on.

Apologies Sir, I am not finding out the reason why you said me "Why are you rejecting it"?What did I reject? Can you please clarify?
I was rather looking for a reassurance from you regarding my test results, and I am happy on your feedback and assurance that  I don't have HIV(1&2) and syphilis.
You are like a God figure to me and I have no intention and guts to disagree on your capability.

Only few direct brief answers to question below, will help me to get this thread close.Sr please answer my question, so that I can get the final peace of my mind.

Q1) I didn't understood whether the test was a 4th generation test that I did or not?Can you please confirm that from the test name given in the below thread of mine?
Q2) A very important question,Sir, you said me that from last year CDC commented that window period is now 42-45 days for AG/Ab combo test, but Idid it in 42nd day, so do you think there is any thin probability of any miss as ideally speaking I should have done it after 45th day?Any repeats necessary?
Q3) Can I move on to have unprotected sex with my wife, without any percent  chance to harm/infect her?
Q4) Do you need me to do tests like HBAsg/HCV/HSV(1&2) to be fully sure, or I can just move on from here to live my life more responsibly and forget this incident?

Kind Regards,
K

I was referring to your rejection of my reassurance, either not understanding or not believing that it has been proved you do not have HIV.

Q1) They were 4th gen tests. That was obvious and should have been obvious to you.

Q2) There is no measurable difference in test performance between 42 and 45 days.

Q3) Yes. This has been said repeatedly or was obvious based on various replies. Does it help to hear it 3 times instead of once?

Q4) I dont need you to be tested for anything. My "need" is irrelvant. There no need or reason for you to have these tests.

That concludes this thread. Do not post another one on these topics. Repetitive anxiety driven questions are not permitted and risk being deleted without reply and without refund of the posting fee. If you still have concerns, I suggest you carefully re-read both this and your previous thread. The answers are there.
