Dear Doctors..

I did an HIV test 18 days after a very brief unprotected cunnilingus (explained before) and it came negative .. the result is 0.11 and the test took about 2 hours for results..

my groin area hurts a little

No lymphadenopathy

No sore throat or any flu like symptoms

Once I experience a night sweats but I think its because anxiety and hot weather in Istanbul

No fever no rash no nausea and finally no diarrhea

I guess that I don’t have any ARS symptoms ..

Do think that’s enough for me to move on or do I need to do another HIV test?

As you were informed by Dr. Hook, this was a zero risk exposure in regard to HIV and no testing is needed. You said you understood and were only going to be tested for gonorrhea.

Correct that your symptoms do not suggest HIV.

Now that you are getting tested for HIV anyway, you should be tested at the right time. With the standard, lab-based antigen-antibody (duo, "4th generation") blood tests, the time is 6 weeks after the last exposure. Your negative result at 18 days is reassuring, because most newly infected people would have a positive result by then. But for a conclusive result, do it again 6 weeks after the event. This does not mean I believe there really is any risk. There is not, and if I were in your situation, I would not have another test. But it's up to you.

Hello Doctor HHH .. thanks for your reply..

Sorry I forgot to say negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia.. I just felt anxiety so I did the HIV test..
so do you think that I don’t need any further tests for HIV and other stds?

I knew that It will be negative, but you know that sometimes anxiety do weird things to our minds..
And also it’s my first sexual act.. and sure it will be the last one

"do you think that I don’t need any further tests for HIV and other stds?"  Nope.

I certainly hope this isn't your last sexual experience! Now that I know it was your first, I'm guessing you've had pretty restrictive sex education. Nobody should forego sex because of anxiety after the first event.

No I mean I won’t do any sexual act with CSW .. I had a friend now and of course I’ll try to have a good sexual life..

By the way.. these HIV tests might help in your scientific research.. still no documented case of HIV acquired by doing Cunnilingus ..

Thanks for the great job you’re doing Doctors HHH AND HOOK
