[Question #4271] HSV-2 exposure risk

Hi

I am certain that i am just being paranoid but here is the situation i have found myself in. About 4 days ago i had a few drinks and visited a prostitute off of the street. All that was involved was me masturbating with my left hand while touching their upper outer thigh with my right hand and possibly the butt cheek area. Then i may have touched the breast with my left hand and went back to masturbating (pretty sure i did). There was no genital touching from either side and no bodily fluid exchange beside mine, i am only asking as im pretty sure she had dark spots that may or may not have looked like healed herpes scars. I am aware the possible chances are virtually zero, i am just asking for clarification and closure for this specific situation.

Appreciate the information.
Thanks

This situation present zero risk for any sexually transmitted infection.  You are correct.  All the things that you did were very safe.  You can feel completely worry free about this experience.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. Since posting this question, I seem to be having a bit of itching in the pubic area and on occasion slight itch/pain at the head of the penis. Should this be a cause of concern or is it likely this is just a psychological effect.

Thanks

This should not be a cause for concern, no.  My guess is that you are really noticing every sensation since you had this encounter.   In the past, had you had these sensations, they would not have had much meaning for you or you wouldn't have given them a second thought but now, you worry.  Please don't worry - this was a no-risk event.
