I'm sorry that my prior answers to your questions were not sufficient to relieve your worries. As you remember, I have already told you that there are no proven cases in which a person has been proven to acquire HIV from performing oral sex on an infected women. I also informed you that the chance that your partner had HIV is very, very low -les than 1% in most settings. You did not need testing. The PCR test that you have confirms what I have already said- you did not get HIV from performing oral sex on a woman outside of your marriage. I see no need for additional testing. EWH

Yes, PCR results at day 11 and beyond are as conclusive as a combination HIV antigen/antibody test taken at six week. PCR tests are not as widely used as the antigen/antibody tests because they have more falsely positive results and more expensive. Thus there are fewer data on their performance than for the antigen/antibody tests. I would believe your PCR test and see no need for further testing. EWH

Glad to hear of your results (but not surprised at the result which I was confident that any further testing would be negative as well). I totally agree that no further testing is needed as well.
This will conclude this thread. Take care. eWH
