2- Hepatitis B surface antibody (reactive) 101.48

3- Hepatitis B core antibody total (reactive) 2.61

4- Hepatitis B core antibody IgM (Non-reactive) 0.08

Welcome to the Forum.  Thanks for your question.  I'll be glad to comment on your questions.  Your results show that sometime in the past you had hepatitis B, that you recovered from the infection.  At this time you are immune to future hepatitis and cannot acquire it again, nor can you transmit hepatitis to others, including your wife.  I should add that most people who get hepatitis B are asymptomatic and your lab test results do not tell us how long you have been infected or whom you got it from.

I hope this information is helpful to you.  EWH

I'm sorry, something went wrong with the message.  It was supposed to say-  "As I said before, you can be entirely confident that you are NOT going to give your wife hepatitis B."

Your results are conclusive. There is no need for further testing.  I suggest you stop worrying about hepatitis B, it is behind you.  You had the infection, you recovered, you cannot get it again and you cannot transmit it to others.  EWH

This is my 3rd reply to your questions. There should be no need for further questions.  As per forum Guidelines, this thread will be closed shortly without further replies.  EWH
