[Question #435] negative results in please advise

Hello , I have just received my hiv , syphilus results ... non reActive at 7.5weeks hiv-1p24AG and hiv-1/hiv-2 ab not detected!! Hiv ag/a combo ... is this a duo test and is it only conclusive at 28 days or is it still conclusive past 28 days??? I know risk was obsolete , but we need conformation.. Can you help me so other people will see this as well when they read my post about exposure -Cunnillingus and oral received ... Negative results - low risk exposure .. Please help me so it will also help someone else.. There are many people on other sites that also have this same question .. And I would love to share and help them as well with your help through this post..

I did not see this part. Abbott architect i1000 hiv ag/ab combo assay cmia .. Is what it was is this a duo?????

Yes, it was a duo test. And as you were told previously, the duo is conclusive any time 28 days or more after the last possible exposure. That means it will be equally definitive for the rest of your life, assuming no new exposures and infections.

You are kidding yourself in believing this information will help others. You are here solely for your own somewhat selfish needs. The vast majority of people at risk do not have the same level of concern and fear that you do, and they understand how the test works. And anyone "on other sigest hat also have this same question" can easily find (and usually believe!) the facts about how the test works.

This thread will also be deleted once you have had time to read this reply. The previous ban on new threads will continue to be enforced after this one.
