[Question #4437] A Sore on body post body2body

Hi, about 3 weeks ago and then again about 10 days ago I had body2body tantric massages. On one occasion I had a scratch on my torso just at the front around the waist band area.
On both occasions there were naked body to body slides where the masseur massages me with the front of her naked body. At the end the masseur straddled me on my abdomen and the masturbated me to ejaculation behind her back. On the second one the lady straddled my legs and masterbared me to ejaculation in front of her onto my belly.
I have been on holiday and wearing swim shorts and also went running in them yesterday evening. I then noticed a sore spot around my waistband area in my side of stomach with a slightly open weeping wound that stung when showering or touching.
I am worried that I have caught Syphilis and this is the chancre spot.
Is this possible? I have not had any intercourse of anal, vaginal or oral at all. Just naked body to body massages and masturbation from the masseur.

Welcome back to the forum. Thanks for your continued confidence in our services.

In one of your previous questions a couple years ago, I described the possible transmission of skin-to-skin STDs (herpes, syphilis, HPV) by genital apposition without penetration, but also pointed out that such transmission is rare. Any risk is even lower for non-genital skin-to-skin contact. In addition, if you are in the US or other industrialized country, the chance your massage partner had active syphils is very low. Further, it seems you have another pretty obvious reason for a superficial skin lesion of the sort you describe. Also, the description doesn't sound like a typical chancre.

If the sore persists or you otherwise remain concerned, get professional care, preferably from a doctor or clinic with lots of STD experience. However, if somehow I were in your situation, I doubt I would feel the need, especially if the sore heals over the next week or so.

I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Thanks Dr. My follow up is about the sore. It’s just like a bit of skin come away in a tiny spot like when you graze yourself. It looks damp but think a scab is forming and it is sore to touch or soap etc. Is this not what a chancre generally is like then? What are the estimated risk of catching Syphilis via this route without intercourse or oral taking place?
I have put a plaster over it so that my pants and jeans waistband do not irritate it further.
I am based in the UK and the massages were in London.

This doesn't sound at all like a chancre. (Google "syphilis chancre" for photos of typical ones. Nothing like what you describe.) I would guess the chance you caught syphilis at well under 1 in a million. Zero for practical purposes. Don't overthink it.---
