My last questions I promise. Say for a scenario for the 5  years I did not have genital  sex only oral sex so this HPV six and 11 is only in my oral cavity what are the chances of spreading it down  genitally also to my wife. Am I  immune now from Getting it  geniyally if I don’t have  it and only have it orally . itDoes six and 11 I have a 50-50 percent chance Oraly of putting words in your mouth also. What would be the clearance rate if it was 13  months ago

I'm sorry to see that you have not been able to move forward despite Dr. Handsfield's reasoned and science-based replies to your questions.  As Dr. Handsfield indicated yesterday "Please note the forum does not permit repeated questions on the same topic or exposure. This will have to be your last one; future new questions about these issue may not be answered, without refund of the posting fee. This policy is based on compassion, not criticism, and is designed to reduce temptations to keep paying for questions with obvious answers. In addition, experience shows that continued answers tend to prolong users' anxieties. Finally, such questions have little educational value for other users, one of the forum's main purposes. Thank you for your understanding."  I will comment briefly and then close this thread.

My sense is that you are hung up on terminology (wart vs papilloma vs HPV infection) and that HPV infections are sexually transmitted, ignoring all that Dr. Handsfield has told you regarding the fact that these infections are innocuous and are commonly present in both members of a sexually active couples.  You have now devolved into asking fruitless "what if" questions for which there are few data.   Issues regarding immunity and spontaneous clearance beyond what Dr. Handsfield has already told you remain a topic of ongoing scientific research which have no bearing on your situation.

End of reply. End of thread. EWH
