[Question #4557] Oraquick testing with exposures over 1 yr ago

Hello doctor, and happy holiday time.

I am married, and between 2 and 5 years ago, i engaged in some CSW visits which included many insertive unprotected oral episodes and some protected vaginal and rarely protected anal, with women, me being the insertive, all in the USA.  i never had unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  always assumed the condoms were used properly.

Recently, I saw a movie about HIV which scared me, and i got scared that maybe i contracted it, and my exposed wife -- ugh -- so i did a series of in home Oraquick tests, about 5 or more of them, all came out negative.

Since the last 'exposure' was 2-5 years ago, can i totally trust the results of these in home oral tests?

Thank you

Of course your tests are valid. Why would that change after all you have learned in your previous threads?

Here again is the warning with which I concluded your last one a few months ago. I think it's the third (or even fourth?) time you have seen it.

Please note the forum does not permit repeated questions on the same topic, the same kinds of exposure, especially low risk exposures for HIV or STD. This will have to be your last one; future new questions like this or your previous ones will be deleted without reply and without refund of the posting fee. This policy is based on compassion, not criticism, and is designed to reduce temptations to keep paying for questions with obvious answers. In addition, experience shows that continued answers tend to prolong users' anxieties rather than reducing them. Finally, such questions have little educational value for other users, one of the forum's main purposes. Thank you for understanding.
