Hi Doctor just as a follow up to the question you kindly answered with regards to conclusive testing after pep,I forgot to mention that I had another  potential exposure with a female escort  111 days after the original exposure (98 days post completion of pep). This may sound odd but I cannot seem to process in my mind whether this additional exposure would be covered by my negative duo tests at 143 days post original exposure (130 days post pep)  and 155 days post original exposure (142 days post pep) and also the rna test at 109 days (post pep) or whether I should test again?  This might be a case of anxiety  confusing me as all tests have come back negative but at present I am unsure in my mind, hope you can help to clarify

I'm sorry to see that you have returned to our Forum for the 8th time over the past three months, largely asking versions of the same question.  This suggests that you continue to unnecessarily focus on exposures which happened in the past.  You need to find a way to move on from this and this forum, which is dedicated to providing data-driven responses to questions about STIs including HIV is now the wrong place for this.  You are obsessing on this- this forum is not able or prepared to provided therapy for OCD.   I suggest that it is time to stop burning money asking repetitive question on this site and seek counseling and help dealing with what appears to be obsessive behavior and concern.

That you had taken PEP about three months earlier would have no impact on the accuracy of your subsequent HIV tests.  In answer to your question, all 4th generation tests taken 6 or more weeks (42 days) after an exposure or are conclusively negative.  Similarly, a PCR test taken any time more than 11-14 days after an exposure is conclusively negative.  Thus, your final combination HIV antigen/antibody test and your final PCR test are both conclusive and there is no need for further testing.  Like your repeated posts on this forum, further testing would be a waste of time and resources.

Let's let this response complete our interactions.  I trust there will be no further questions about these exposures.  You need to move on.  EWH
