My computer indicates a large number of what I presume are frantic replies to my recent response.  You may have overwhelmed the system.  If you are responding, please respond to this reply (not the other question you opened) WITH A SINGLE RESPONSE.  Then be patient qand I will respond.  EWH---

It appears that you are receiving my replies but I am not receiving yours.  Sorry.  I suggest you check with the Forum administrator.  If a follow question comes through I will reply but if you are doing something now, whatever it is is not working.  EWH---

I see six notification of responses but only received this one.

Thanks for the additional information.  IF your partner had untreated HIV, which I said was unlikely ( less than 1% of American men have HIV and of the 1%, the VAST majority of this are men who have sex with other men, PLUS you live in an area where HIV is far less common than in places like the EAST or West coasts), following two episodes of unprotected sex, your risk of having acquired HIV would be less than 1 in 600.  In other words there is a more than 99.8% chance you would not be infected.  Please don't worry.  EWH

Thanks dr. Hook I do feel a bit more calm now. What about the painful ironstone at times? Is that suggestive of sti?

I'm not sure what is meant by "painful ironstone".  If you meant painful urination, it could be a run of the mill urinary tract infection.  Far less likely to be an STI.  When you get checked, it would be easy for your health care provider to check your urine.  EWH

IT will be at least 8 hours until I  can answer further questions.  EWH

Honestly, your results are almost certainly going to be negative and clearly worrying without results is clearly causing you much anxiety.  Get tested, you'll be glad you did.  EWH
p.s.  Besides, getting testing in no way changes the fact as to whether or not you are infected, it just gives you this important knowledge.  EWH

Sigh.  there is also a chance that you will be struck but lightening- the chances are about the same or, if anything, your chance of having acquired HIV is lower.  EWH---

You are welcome.  I must remind you that our Forum limits the number of replies to each question to three.  You and I have exceeded this, even we we count that you have paid for two questions.  I will leave the thread open for one or two more exchanges but th4n the thread will need to be closed.

No need to reply to this reply.  EWH

Only slightly,  IF he had HIV (again, this is unlikely) there is a more than 99% chance that you did not get HIV.  EWH---

This is a repetitive statement which I have answered for you in the past.  You have little to fear as it is highly likely that you were not infected.  Clearly your fear is having a great effect on you.  You need to get tested.

As I explained before, our replies are limited.  This will be my final response and this thread will be closed shortly.  Take care.  Please don't worry.  EWH
