Dear Dr.handsfield

Sorry for  getting back to you in a very short time
But I still feel on going symptoms like abdominal pain or pelvic I don’t know exactly, muscle joint pain, including fatigue

As well I am on antidepressants cipralex for 15 years and I change it to Zoloft 200 mg on daily basis from 40 days ago

I know that you are one of best the doctors in sexually transmitted disease

1-)Do I need to have further testing due to these discomfort as mentioned above

2-) does Zoloft can cause all these symptoms

3-) if these symptoms continue, it will be not related to HIV!

4-) I did an X-ray for my jaw discomfort and It came normal as a result,
It’s possibly to be a shorty nodes?

Welcome to the Forum.  As you probably know, clients on this site are not permitted to request who responds to their questions.  All questions regarding herpes go to Ms. Warren and Dr. Handsfield and I split all other questions.  As it happened, today I happened to pick up your question.  As an FYI, having worked closely for more than 35 years, Dr. Handsfield and I never disagree on the content of our replies although our verbal styles vary.  I will be addressing this question.

I'm sorry to see that you needed to return to our Forum.  Your questions are a bit redundant and have been answered already by Dr. Handsfield whose responses to your earlier questions I have reviewed and entirely agree with.  You have PROVEN that you do not have HIV.  To continue to worry is non-productive and only feeds your anxiety.  As answers to your questions:

1-)Do I need to have further testing due to these discomfort as mentioned above.

Already answered.  Your results are conclusive.  Additional testing is a waste of resources.  The results will not change.

2-) does Zoloft can cause all these symptoms

Zoloft can certainly make persons taking it feel tired or sleepy although these symptoms tend to diminish after taking the medications for a few weeks.  The other symptoms that you describe are not commonly associated with Zoloft.

3-) if these symptoms continue, it will be not related to HIV!
Correct

4-) I did an X-ray for my jaw discomfort and It came normal as a result,
It’s possibly to be a shorty nodes?
This would be unusual.  If you do have swollen lymph nodes, you have proven that you do not have HIV so any swollen lymph nodes you detect are NOT related to HIV or the exposure you described to Dr. Handsfield.

I hope these responses are helpful and will allow you to move forward without concern.  EWH

Dear Dr.Hook

I am very pleased that you answered my questions , I know very well that you and Dr.Handsfield have the same opinions
If you don’t mind to ask these following questions too

-1)ELECTROCHIMINULENSCE
      AG P24+Anticorps anti-HIV(1+2)
Does this kind of test is reliable ?all kind of     4 generations test are conclusive at 6 weeks for HIV 1 and 2 ?

2-)I lost 5 kg in these 4.5 months,as well  even if my  swollen lymph nodes was swollen and on going discomfort  on my left ear or jaw
HIV Isn’t The cause ,right ?

3-)all these tests are done at the same lab , is it ok?

With all due respect.  These questions are a bit repetitive and the answers are not going to change
-1)ELECTROCHIMINULENSCE
      AG P24+Anticorps anti-HIV(1+2)
Does this kind of test is reliable ?all kind of     4 generations test are conclusive at 6 weeks for HIV 1 and 2 ?Yes, 6 week results are conclusive for both HIV-1 and HIV-2.

2-)I lost 5 kg in these 4.5 months,as well  even if my  swollen lymph nodes was swollen and on going discomfort  on my left ear or jaw
HIV Isn’t The cause ,right ?
Correct.  You should look for another, non-HIV cause

3-)all these tests are done at the same lab , is it ok?
Yes.  Laboratories are regularly licensed and approved throughout the world.

Thank you Dr,Hook,

I've did the last test from 2 days ago(139 days from last exposure)-20 weeks
4th generation test -Anti HIV 1&2 +P24 ANTIGEN
Two techniques: by ECLIA -Cobas 6000- Roche (threshold = 1) 4th generation and rapid chromatographic test
ANTI HCV-TECHNIC ECLIA/ROCHE (Hepatitis C- NEGATIVE)

1-) DOES MY HCV TEST CONCLUSIVE AFTER 85 DAYS FROM MY LAST EXPOSURE
As per Dr.Handsfield there is no medical condition or medications that can delay the seroconversion period( Only if someone is on Hiv medication or pep ONLY)

2-) Even if it's a 4th generation test the antibodies  HIV-1 & 2 COULD be Detected if there is any infection (100%)? So no need for a 3rd generation test at this period of time?

3-) So testing at 6 months mark is outdated?as per my results are 100 % conclusive and definitive/

Sorry to repeat my myself, thank for your understanding.
Thank you a lot dr.

Repetitive, again.  Please note, you have shown a pattern of repetitive, anxiety-driven questions which are contrary to the goals of this Forum.  Future repetitive, anxiety-driven questions may be deleted without comment.  Now to your questions:

1.  Correct
2.  Correct
3.  Yes, the 6 month recommendation is outdated.  Your results are conclusive.

This thread is now over.  I trust you will  not need to return.  EWH
