[Question #5126] Happy ending massage

Hi, a few  months ago I received a happy ending massage in Sydney, AU. I was fully naked and so was the masseuse. She only used her hand with some massage oil.

While I realize this event is very low risk, it hasn’t prevented me from feeling anxious. I feel a slight stinging sensation towards the head of my penis/urethral opening occasionally. I also noticed some small bumps on my inner thigh recently.

I believe I’m just making these symptoms up but could use some reassurance that it’s not an STD. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for your quesiton.

You are correct that this event was very low risk -- in fact, zero risk. No STDs ever are transmitted by hand-genital contact. There might have been slight risk for some infections (e.g. HSV, HPV) she had used her own vaginal fluid for lubrication. Even then, the risk is minimal. As for your symptoms, no STD can cause an occasional "stinging senstion" in absence of visible sores, and no STD causes skin problems of the thighs like you describe. I will also add that whenever someone suspects his or her own symptoms have a psychological origin ("I believe I'm just making these symptoms up"), almost allways s/he is correct.

So no risk, no worries about STDs, no need for testing; and if you have a regular sex partner, you can continue your normal sexual practices without fear of transmitting any STD from your massage with happy ending.

I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.
