[Question #5476] Risk of exposure from deep kissing with blood from vomit

Hi,

I am writing in to enquire about something stupid i did.

I went to a pub and engaged in some open mouth kissing with one of the hostesses. Halfway through, she had to go to the toilet to puke due to overdrinking. She was in there for 10 mins (dont know what she did in there) and smoked a cigarette before coming back. We did continue drinking and kissing after awhile. This happened a few times. Now that i am reading forums that HIV can survive on blood for quite some time, is there a way that there was alot of blood in the vomit and it was still in her mouth and when we kissed, it got into my gums that might have been bleeding, my gum health isnt the best and i get random bleeding gums occasionally.

I also read that people on ART vomit alot from side effects so maybe she was positive, i am very worried about this incident as these coupled with my other massage are the only 2 exposures that i might have had so i dont know what to make of it if both these incidents are not risks for transmission.

Can you please access my risk for this incident? My elisa came back reactive but wb negative at 4.5 weeks. i am very nervous about the whole episode now.

Thanks!

Repeating your question with additional detail makes no difference to the response.  This was a no risk event.  I will close your earlier post which I just answered.  Please do not waste this post by repeating the same questions once again.  EWH---
