[Question #5627] Protected asian escort

If Dr Hook I apologise but would want some further advice on recent "symptoms" from discussion of my last question(same event) If Dr Handsfield nice to meet you and can you please read my last question for DR hook involving said escort. About 10 days into this quick regretful event I was showering and after washing my genitals I pulled back my foreskin and tried to urinate and felt a sharp pain. Since then I've been focussing on my urination which has felt fine but I feel an urgency to wee and it's not painful but I feel aware of my uretha and seem to can't relax. I am an anxious person and everytime I've done something I regret I usually magically have a symptom (usually testicle ache) this seems a little different with sometimes mild anal soreness, slight tingling numbness in uretha and just seem to keep researching medhelp etc. Is this anxiety or could this be a symptom of say Chlaymedia after 10 days - 2 weeks? There is no discharge of any kind as I keep checking and no pain on urination just a heavy feeling down below.

1. The condom was 100% used correctly, put on by the escort herself with her hand and did not slip. Is this in my head or still could be an sti?

2. Has stated before the sex was very brief and I came out of her and masturbated myself with condom on, then tried to masturbate straight after taking it off,was that a risk?

 3. I'm very scared to infect my wife, I haven't had sex since, can I resume guilt free?

4. Only sex I have had with my wife since is mutual oral, could I have passed anything on?

To me my symptoms,my chances and my anxiety point to me not being at risk and this could just be mind tricks? even though the urine symptom feels very real. I did go to the clinic to get tested but the wait was over 3 hours so had to bail as going on a short holiday with friends. Shall I test when back (medical advice, not anxiety) Thank you once again.

Welcome back to the Forum.  I sorry that the exposure we discussed nearly two weeks ago continues to worry you.  I'll some comments to your specific questions below but I'll provide a summary statement first.  On occasion, when persons become anxious about a sexual exposure, they tend to focus on the search for abnormal genital sensations and as a result, become aware of normal genital sensations that they otherwise overlook.  I suspect that what may be going on.  I remain confident that you did not put yourself at risk from the events you described.  While I see no medical need for testing, given your anxiety, perhaps having a test when convenient will provide you with needed reassurance.  If you test, I am confident the results will be negative and should be believed.

1. The condom was 100% used correctly, put on by the escort herself with her hand and did not slip. Is this in my head or still could be an sti?
Please see above.  I see no reason to be concerned about an  STI.  BTW, urinary  frequency and urgency is NOT a sign of STI although it can be a sign of anxiety.

2. Has stated before the sex was very brief and I came out of her and masturbated myself with condom on, then tried to masturbate straight after taking it off,was that a risk?
No.  Even if you got her genital secretions on you during masturbation, it would not place you at risk for STI.

 3. I'm very scared to infect my wife, I haven't had sex since, can I resume guilt free?
Yes

4. Only sex I have had with my wife since is mutual oral, could I have passed anything on?
No

I hope that these responses are helpful. EWH

I appreciate your quick response, I'm only anxious due to the different  "symptoms" i seem to be experiencing at different times. So the sharp initial pain i felt in the shower i have never experienced that before, not a problem?

Additional questions.

1. My frequent urination  is abnormal to me but I always seem to urinate without struggle or an issue.

2. Could anxiety really give these real symptoms? I feel like I have some sort of UTI.

I really appreciate your time and effort and thank you  for speaking with me again about my issues and what you have said has pit me at ease as I respect that you're an expert in this field.

I have no explanation for a single, sharp pain.  It is not a typical symptom of any STI.
1.Please see my earlier response. Urinary frequency is NOT a sign of STI.
2.  Yes, anxiety could do this.  UTIs are not STIs.  If you have an STI, it is some other processes.  UTIs are very rare in men younger than 40 and when they occur may suggest prostate problems.

Glad I could help.  EWH

Your anxiety is showing.  "What if" questions serve no purpose.  Chlamydia infections in men can be asymptomatic.  As I said in my initial response, rather than going down the "what if" and "has it ever" rabbit holes, I suggest you stop this line of questioning and get tested, committing to believing your test results.

As you know, we provide up to three responses per question.  this is my 3rd response.  thus this thread will be closed shortly.  Please try not to worry. EWH
