Welcome to our forum. Thanks for your question. I'll be pleased to provide some information.
The event you describe was a no risk of that. There is no risk of acquisition of HIV infection from shaking hands, touching, or if after shaking hands or touching an HIV infected person, you put those fingers into your mouth. The fact that you have an emerging wisdom tooth does not change this in the least. There is no reason for concern and no reason for testing related to the events you describe.
I hope that this information is helpful to you. EWH

I’m sorry I have just been having serious anxiety issues over this . I have lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks no sleep and have sores on the roof of my mouth. Are you sure me putting my finger directly on the emerging widsom tooth after shaking hand with someone who is hiv positive didn’t put me at risk

I am sorry to hear that you continue to be anxious about this no risk event. I repeat, even if you put your finger into your mouth and onto an emerging wisdom tooth after touching a person who has HIV with that finger, there is zero risk of you acquiring the infection. There is no reason for concern and no reason for testing.
As I suspect you know, we provide up to three responses to each client's question. This is my third response to your questions. As a result this thread will now be closed. Take care and please don't worry. EWH
