[Question #5690] HIV oral sex

Hi
Last night I met two guys. They  offered oral sex. I put the condom then one guy gave me oral. After some time both started sucking my nipples and masterbating me by hand. When I was about to ejaculate i pushed them away. Usually I ejaculate in condom but this time I realised that condom slipped out and semen came out to my hand. I ran to outside toilet to check condom but it was unbroken.
Now my fear is what if while receiving oral sex condom would have removed and I am exposed to their mouth.
Please tell me my risk of HIV
Should I go for PEP?
I never did any oral without condom. Due to my mistake i missed to check weather my condom was intact or not.

Welcome to our forum and thanks for your question. Your commitment to say sex will keep you healthy.

There is no risk for HIV from the activities you have described.  You do not know that your partners were infected and most  people do not have HIV.   More importantly however there has never been a proven case in which HIV has been acquired from receipt of unprotected oral sex. Similarly having your nipple sucked in receipt of masturbation is also a no risk event. There is no reason for  HIV testing related to the events you describe and there is certainly no reason for PEP.

On the other hand, there is a small risk of acquiring gonorrhea from receipt of unprotected oral sex. Most gonorrhea however becomes symptomatic within 3 to 5 days following exposure. If you remain asymptomatic I would not worry. If you do choose to test however I would wait at least 2 to 3 days before doing so.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't worry. EWH

Thank you Dr. Hook for killing my HIV fear. I trust you as I always read your comments in Medhelp. I will definately test for Gonnarrihea after 5 days.  If the test comes normal can I resume my normal sexual life?
Thank you

Yes.  You could probably resume normal, unprotected sex at this time, even without testing.  Certainly after your Gonorrhea test which I anticipate will be negative, proving that you were not infected.  EWH---

Sir,
As you said I will be getting a test done for gonorrhea tomorrow as 5 days after exposure. But since 2 days I am having severe cold and also stomach upset which making me worry as I see on the net these are symptoms of early HIV.
Do you still think after above exposure there is no risk of HIV.  2 months back I check all stis and all are normal. I never did any anal or vaginal sex for 5 years only receving oralthat to strictly with condom. Except above where condom came off during oral. I am scared
Waiting for reply.

I am sorry to hear that you're feeling poorly. Unless your current cold and stomach discomfort is due to anxiety related to your concerns, your symptoms are not related in anyway to the exposure you described. It is too early to have symptoms from HIV.  Dick exposure you described was a no risk of that. You have nothing to worry about.

As you know, we provide up to three replies to each clients question. This is my third reply to your questions. Thus, this thread will be closed shortly without further replies. I remain confident that you have not been exposed to HIV and I anticipate that your test for gonorrhea will be negative.  Please don't worry. Take care. EWH
