How high are the chances for a female to pass HSV1 to a male’s genitals during oral sex? Is it possible that i already transmitted it to him orally since we have been seeing each other since March. 

I want to follow up in regards to my question. I’m really panicking about this and losing sleep over a stupid decision. Can you please help?

I am interested in how you were diagnosed with HSV 1 and how to you know that it is oral.  Have you received oral sex in your lifetime?

People with cold sores that are recurrent give off virus quite often but we have no data on people who have oral infection but have no outbreak.  But I think the chances of you infecting him at a single oral sex encounter are very low indeed. 

Do you know if he has been tested or has ever in his life had a cold sore?  If he has ever in his life had a cold sore, then he also already has HSV 1 and this is not an issue.
