What
percentage of the population in the United States carries the HSV – 1 virus?? I’ve seen estimates ranging between 40% - 95%. Can you please narrow this down??

about 47% of people in the US between 14 and 49 have HSV 1, and in people older than that, the number is higher - incredibly common!

the 47% of the population in the US that carries HSV-1, what
percentage never have an active breakout, what percentage have one active
breakout and then no more, and what percentage have recurring active
breakouts??

About 70% of those infected with HSV 1, determined by an antibody test, do not report symptoms. We don't have data on how many have one outbreak and no more, sorry
