I am having my Frist outbreak... (I tested Igg value of 26 for hsv1 specific) tingle and itchy feeling randomly on my body. when leason come out they brun. The leasons are hard to see and come out randomly on my body. An itchy tingle spot does not = a place where a leason will come out. I have been on 3x a day valacoyclovir 1GM for two weeks... now going on my 3rd week. This has gone on and on... none stop for six weeks. The Frist three weeks of this I was told it will stop soon but when it did not I was told that it is a disseminated Infection.... I am type 2 diabetic no no other issues... hiv 1/2 negative... have you ever seen this? And do you know when will it stop?

You say you are having your first outbreak - you are not having your first infection with HSV 1 - you have a very robust immune response already. Do you mean that you are having a new HSV 2 outbreak? Did you have a lesion swab tested that was positive and if so, for what type? Have you ever had a cold sore on your lip or in your nose? What do you mean that they come out randomly on your body? Where?

No! I have never had hsv1 or 2.., ever! I tested positive for hsv1! On 8/23/19. HSV2 is negative. This was via blood test. I am having a disseminaed outbreak (according to my Dr.) of HSV1... it is every where randomly on my skin but mostly on my face forehead and mouth... genitals, arms legs but, ass, back top of my head! Thankfully not very noticeable leasons. My hsv1 specific Igg is 26.6. This has been going on for now for six weeks!!! None stop.

I think what you mean is that you have never had an outbreak of herpes. And I seriously doubt that that is what is happening now although if you have had positive PCR tests from all of those locations you describe, I could be wrong. Was any swab testing done of the lesions on your body? Or are they simply relying upon the positive HSV 1 antibody test result? You do NOT have new herpes. Your index value on the HSV 1 test indicates that you have an old HSV 1 infection, one that has been well established over time. And HSV 1 outbreaks would not last 6 weeks and I think the number of cases of disseminated herpes in the US is pretty much limited to infants.
Can you let me know about the swab testing that you have had done? Outbreaks on the mouth (cold sores) are of course common with HSV 1 and we would expect to see that, but not for 6 weeks.
If you have not had a positive swab test from any location, I would respectfully suggest that all of these lesions scattered throughout your body are likely due to something other than HSV 1 and you would benefit from a visit to a dermatologist.
A high index value positive for HSV 1 on an antibody test is something about half the population of the US has. And a positive HSV 1 test does not necessarily equate to the symptoms that you are having. Do you see what I'm saying?

I am responding as a way of information to you. On 8/12 I took a blood test. A full panel including 4G HIV 1/2, and HIV RNA QL TMA: Hsv1 and HSV2: the Igg was < .90 on both so negative: (HIV negative. I repeated the HIV both on 9/23... negative as well....)then a week after I started to have skin pealing on my tongue and inside of my mouth. Oh: the reason why I took the blood test on the 8/12 is because I had leasons on my penis: nothing anywhere else... on 8/12: then when thing stared to come up in my mouth I did another test on 8/22: hsv1 specific Igg of 2.14 positive: hsv 2 negative so everything else that was tested a full panel. Then then starting popping up everywhere on my body face hair nose eyelids everywhere legs feet. So on 9/4 I tested again This time Hsv1 Igg of 6.95 everything else was negative including hsv2..And asked the symptoms I described to you were on going and I’ll stop my doctor run a full panel and I asked the symptoms I described to you were ongoing and not stop my doctor run a full panel on 9/23 ( the other the panels were ordered by me individually via stdcheck.com quest labs) on the 9/23 test my hsv1 Igg was 26.7.... hsv2 <.9 the same HIV 4g and RNA was also redone... negative!!! So I am very sure it is just HSV1... the other reason why I believe this is a new infection is because in 2018 I divorced And I ran a full std panel at that time and all was negative.. then year ago I remarried. I have not been with any other I Only my prior and my now wife. Have you seen such a thing with hsv1???

No, I have never seen HSV 1 behave in this way and I continue to not believe that all of the symptoms you are having all over your body are HSV 1. But you do believe that so I'm not sure how to help you. My question remains - have you had these scattered lesions swab tested and if yes, are they positive for HSV 1? If not, then there is no way you would know that just because you have a positive blood test, that these are all due to HSV 1. I would suggest that you do have one of these swab tested and see what you get.
