[Question #6177] Massage Parlor Hand Job - Leaving Me Ready to Jump Off A Cliff (Scared Shitless)

I regularly go to massage parlors and get a 30 minute massage and a happy ending (hand job only). However, on this particular occasion the masseuse was jerking me off with her right hand and fingering herself with her left hand, she was even smelling her fingers between playing with herself which I thought was kind of weird. After she played with herself for 2-3 minutes she put that nasty/infested left hand on my penis, testicles, and outer edge of anus and proceeded to manipulate my genitals to climax over roughly the next 10 minutes. I am suspecting she has some type of genital herpes and/or genital warts and was intentionally trying to transfer them to me. I feel like her sniffing her fingers was her way of checking to ensure she had enough vaginal secretion on her hands to transfer to me in order to infect me.  I should have slapped her hand away obviously the minute I saw her touch herself but when you are the moment decision making skills go out the window. This event happened exactly two days ago and ever since then I feel like the tip of my penis has been bothersome, like I can just feel its more, like itchy and slight sting to it. I just need to know what the chances are I acquired something from this contact and what I should do to help reduce my chance of contraction in the early stage ie cream, cleaning, over the counter medicine, prescription medication, antibiotics, ext. PLEASE HELP!!!!

And to be clear I am specifically concerned with herpes and warts in this situation.

Welcome to our Forum and thanks for your confidence in our services.  The activities you describe did not put you at risk for any STI, including HSV or HPV.  STIs are more fragile than is often appreciated and exposure to the environment renders them non-infectious.  In addition, STI transmission requires DIRECT contact between and the mechanical act of transferring secretions from one person to another on the hands does not lead to infection.  By way of example, I would point out that even mutual masturbation, in which both partners get each others secretions on one another, is considered a no risk event with no need for testing.  I see no reason for concern and no reason for testing of any sort.  EWH

Hello Dr. Hook,

Thank you for the timely response and this information is well received. My only question is how long/how much vaginal secretion would need to be present for a possible infection? My concern is if she was shedding and there was some of the active virus in the vaginal secretion on her hand and it came in contact with the mucus membrane inside my urethra there is the possibility of infection.

The quantity of vaginal secretions which might have been transferred does not matter. Irrespective of the quantity, there are no proven cases in which these STI's have been transmitted through transfer of genital secretions from one person's genitals on another person's hand to cause infection.  No one has ever been proven to have been infected with an STI in the manner you suggest. You will not be the first. This was a no risk event. EWH---

Thank you Dr. Hook. This is wonderful news. I feel much better. I will return to normal sex with my girl friend then. Also, even if that was a no risk event it still made me feel dirty, I am no longer going to those types of places any more.

I am glad that the information I provided has been helpful. While I realize that there is some residual guilt related to the activities you describe, there is no reason to be concerned that you might have acquired something that you could transfer to your regular partner. There is no reason to worry. And no reason to test.

This is my third reply to your question. Therefore, as per forum guidelines, this thread will be closed shortly without additional replies. Take care. EWH
