Hello
I went out on a first date with a woman about 3 weeks ago. She told me she is twice divorced and was a swinger with both her exes.
We kissed deeply for a few minutes throughout the night and i touched her private area briefly, over her pants.
2 weeks after i started to have a low grade fever, burning in the mouth, tongue, top of mouth and lips. Body aches, body fatigue, loss of appetite, itchy scalp and nausea. General feeling like i am sick, like a flu.
In the past I have had STD tests and they showed i was positive for HSV1.
What do you think this could be? Did i catch something ? Could i catch something? What can i catch? I am worried?
Thank You

I think sometimes we forget that when we have very close contact with other people, like kissing, we can acquire other germs besides those that are considered sexually transmitted. For example, if you kissed someone with strep throat, you could get their strep infection. The touching of her genitals over her clothing was not a risk at all. I can't say what you might have gotten from this person, or even if you have acquired something from her. What I can tell again is that there is no risk from touching her genitals over her clothing.

Hi
I went to doctor and he gave me z pac I finished it two days ago but I'm still not feeling well.
Are my symptoms those of an std infection?
I would like to hear your opinion please.
Thanks

No, your symptoms are not symptoms of an STD. What infection did they give you the Z pack for?

oh, I didn't realize they had diagnosed you with strep. Well that would certainly account for some of the symptoms that you describe here. Or were you actually diagnosed with strep or did they just give you antibiotics to cover you for possible strep? I hope by now you are feeling somewhat better. And again, I don't believe you are at risk for an STD given your encounter.
