I promise this is the last you'll hear from me but... Knowing my situation, when would I be content that I'm not at risk of herpes? It's been 3 weeks, no noticeable sores or lesions or any fever / ill feeling etc. penis feels sore at tip but thinking that's maybe posthitis as I've been urinating an awful lot and some urine has sat in under foreskin and hoping that's the cause not herpes??!! I've also been looking at it frequently and touching it which maybe is transferring germs to that area? Penis isn't red or look inflamed, but feels sore! Is this in my head? Could I have symptoms and not know? Sorry to ask this final question, just concerned. I pray you'll respond? Thanks in advance.

I don't understand how the symptoms I'm exhibiting are like gonorrhea and or chlamydia?! I was given antibiotics, the injection in my backside etc within 48 hours yet now I'm experiencing these symptoms 3 weeks later that could be the cause of something like urethritis according to the internet and the symptoms I'm feeling. How can I be infected when I've had these treatments and the oral was protected and extremely brief. I'm so confused! Is this in my head??

Anthony ,I think Dr Handsfield has tried to reassure you several times about your concerns. I get that you are worried, I really do, but now is the time to stop worrying and try to start living your live again. Your contact was very brief, oral sex is really unlikely to transmit STDs, you've been treated adequately, and your testing is negative. Now is the time to try to let this go. It's hard, I know, especially when you are feeling some physical things that you perceive as abnormal, but the chances that you actually have something are incredibly close to zero, close enough that it's time to move on, even though you have worries, even though you have physical symptoms. Please try to do that, OK? We have only your best interests at heart, I promise most sincerely,
Best
