Doctor Hook,

I am sorry i raised this question before but i forgot the username so had to create a new account. I have written it down now so i dont forget. I have additional question and did a hiv test.

Last week i met a lady in australia melbourne and i did licked her vagina for 10 seconds and was sucked that it.

Now i got really panicked and 10 days  after i went did an hiv test plus gonorrhea chlamydia everything came back negative.

I also got the lady to do an hiv test and she is negative as well she showed me the result.

Can you please confirm if there are cases where hiv happened from been sucked or licking a vagina, there are so much information on the websites i am not sure what to believe ?

Do i need to move on? NOW  or do further testing.

I have read your threads and you say there is never been a case that someone got hiv through cunnninglus but got through fettalio . i mean i dont understand the difference?

Thanks!

First, this is a repetative question about the same exposure we discussed a few days ago. Second, users do not select the moderator who responds to questions. If you were hoping for Dr. Hook's opinion in addition to mine, there was no point:  he and I have been close colleagues and friends for more thatn 3 decades; our opinions and advice never are significantly different from one another,. His replies to these and your previous questions would be the same as mine.

As we have discussed, fellatio and cunnilingus are both nearly zero risk for HIV. The reason for the slight difference probably is that the large amount of fluid involved in ejaculation in the mouth is larger than the amount of vaginal/cervical fluids from performing cunnilingus.

But since you now know your partner doesn't have HIV, it is even more obvious you are not ati risk. Indeed you should move on. There will be no further discussion.

For more detailed discussion, re-read your previous threads which all ask pretty much the same questions as here. The question numbers are 1819, 1846, 1922, 1926, and 1928 (2+ years ago) and 6221 (last week). You have been warned about repeated anxiety driven posts and the policy of deleting such questions without reply, which is what will happen if you ever post another question about oral sex exposures and HIV risks. Thank you for your understanding of the forum rules.
