[Question #6329] Herpes transmission in laundry

I was Diagnosed with HSV2 in mid-1990s.  Not currently experiencing outbreak as far as I know.  Husband and I are helping to care for family in kidney transplant situation(transplant was Monday). Sister-in-law was donor,  my brother recipient.  He is immunosuppressed, of course.  I was doing laundry and sister in law asked to add some of her underwear to my load (which includes my underwear).  I began to be concerned.  Online reading suggests no risk what with washing/detergent and dryer.  But I rewashed her underwear alone and dried on high heat to be sure.  Is there any risk here?

There is absolutely zero risk here.  It's all good.
