I have questions about herpes please. im male

I have had low fever, swollen lymph nodes all over my body, lower back mild nerve pain which ive never had, pain in buttocks, backs of legs, nausea. And sores all around my anus the anal sores have come on 2 month after the sexual exposure.

Im being tested for hiv and have tested negative at 4 weeks post pep. So its not looking like i have Hiv so now im concerned it may herpes simplex 2. Ive never had a cold sore on my face or lips in my life so dont think i have hsv-1. i dont remember having sores around my anus before i couldnt tell if they blistered into a bubble as i only noticed when wiping after toilet. The night before i noticed the sores i did have alot of itching inside my anus entrance then the next day the sores appeared. I have some questions please 

1. Would i get generalised swollen painful lymph nodes all over my body all swollen for 3 days then it went down and i just had pain in all locations on and off for about 7 weeks when it finally stopped? Was swollen worse under the jaw. Fever nausea. 

2. How quickly would you expect sores to show on first infection?

3. How severe would the sores be on first infection mine are not noticeable unless wiping really

4. Is it possible i already had hsv2 and just never had serious showing symptoms and now its resurfaced due to stress from Hiv scare? 

5. I have no sores on my penis. Would it always show sores on penis and anus? Or can it just surface in one place? 

6. Is it possible my 7 weeks of feeling ill with flu like symptoms could have been caused by herpes virus 2 infection? 

Also with Hiv testing i have tested negative at 4 weeks post pep on a 4th gen ag ab lab test. Am i in the clear?
