Hi doctor, I recently went to a massage parlor where the masseuse was massaging me with my face down. She used a hot oil and used her finger to titillate the anal area. I dont think she penetrated the anus but she was awfully close. Then she turned me over and gave me a handjob. My questions are as followed.

1) Is there any chance of contracting any std this way?

2)Especially HIV?

3)It was my understanding that no penetration = no risk. Is that limited to just penile penetration?

4)Should I get tested?

I've done research on the previous posts on here and it seems like a low or no risk. Just need reassurance. Thank you for your time and expertise.

Sorry I meant to add if she did in fact penetrate my anus is there a risk?

Welcome back to the Forum. I see that your two last questions have been administratively closed, I presume because they were repetitive or had been previously answered. I also reviewed your two questions from about 9 months ago and noted that Dr. Handsfield had answered them but that you repeated the question. I hope that it has become clear to you that repetitive, anxiety-driven questions related to no risk situations are not permitted on the Forum.

In the absence of clarity regarding your earlier questions, I will provide brief answers. Anal fingering, with or without penetration is a form of masturbation. There is no risk for HIV or other STI from masturbation, including anal fingering. It is safe sex. Thus the answers to your questions are:

1) Is there any chance of contracting any std this way?

2)Especially HIV?

Corrent, no penetration, no risk, no matter what is being penetrated.

Hi Dr.

In regards to the previous questions that were deleted I paid the extra fee to have them removed as I am in a committed relationship and the discovery of such questions would for sure end my marriage. I understand questions can help others. But I love my wife very much but I do have an anxiety disorder which I am in therapy for. As for my putting myself in risky sexual situations it does relate to a previous trauma, that i am working through.

As for the most recent sexual incident I've come to you with there is more to the story that I'm hoping you can shed some light on. On top of the possible anal fingering which I now understand was risk free. There was a large ammount of frottage. She kept her pants on the whole time. But my bare penis did simulate the sexual act of intercourse by penetrating her vagina over her pants if that makes any sense? As well as rub the vagina over her pants. Also there was breast sucking, kissing, and fingering over her pants. My question generally is if she kept her pants on the entire time is there any real risk of any std and/or hiv? I know my anxiety is getting the better of me. And the best way to defeat it is to stop putting myself in these situations. Thank you for your input, time,and expertise.

You are correct, your anxiety is getting the best of you. The additional activities you describe (frottage, kissing, masturbation through her clothing, breast kissing do NOT put you at risk for any STI. The entirety of the encounter you describe was no risk for any STI. EWH

Thank you dr. For my last follow up I'll keep it short and sweet. To make sure I got it right as long as she kept her pants on there is no chance that I contracted any sti/hiv? Thank you again for your help. You dont know how much it helps.

Edit*** So no matter how hard my penis pressed on her vagina as long as she kept her pants on (and panties on underneath) that was a sufficient barrier?

Correct, no chance of any STI as long as she kept her pants on. Pressing your penis on her clothing covered vagina is a no risk event. Zero.
