I recently tested positive for HSV 1 for IGG after years of testing negative. I also tested positive for CMV. Does this positive result for HSV1 mean that I have herpes? I have never had a cold sore so can I trust this test and I was thinking that maybe the CMV has an impact on my results because they are under the same family.
