Hi Doctor,

I am in Dubai and had a protected oral and vaginal sex with high paid Russian call girl in hotel. All the condom was there and it’s around 2-3 minutes we did sex. 
I have checked condom and didn’t notice any breakage. But on my penis some liquid was there, may be condom lubricant.
I didn’t notice any symptom, but after that my wife had sore throat, nasal congestion, cough and mild fever.

Welcome to our Forum.  Thanks for your question.  I’ll do my best to help.  The exposures you describe were virtually no risk.  Most commercial sex workers in Dubai do not have STIs, including HIV.  In addition, condoms are almost completely effective for prevention of all STIs, including HIV.  In my opinion, while testing is always possible, there is no medical reason that you need testing.  It is likely that your wife’s current symptoms are unrelated to your misstep and are only coincidental.
