[Question #6879] Herpes, mites, bugs? Don’t know

I’ve been trying to understand my symptoms and the cause of them. But it’s been hard. I’ve been seeing how people get itchy when around me on the same spots constantly. It’s always in the hands, wrists, hair, eyebrows, eyelashes etc. I can’t understand why. But it’s the same itchyness I’ve been experiencing for a while. All over basically. I don’t know if this can be due to herpes, mites, bugs or something else but it has been frustrating not knowing and not being able to treat it. But knowing can help me treat it. Whatever it can be

I'm unclear why you think it might be caused by herpes - do you have herpes, is that why you are concerned?  Herpes would NOT cause itching in the areas that you describe but you might want to be evaluated to be certain that you don't have infections of the hair and skin - scabies or crabs (body lice).  What do you think?

Well I was diagnosed with herpes ones. I never drank any daily medication for it and that’s exactly why it was part of my concern. I wasn’t sure if because of that reason this could’ve been part of it. I’ve been to a dermatologist already, they’ve given me a few doses of ivermectin and permethrin. Treating it as scabies or body lices. But it haven’t been gone at all. I’ve been seeing the exact same symptoms constantly. The itching when I’m around people and it’s very uncomfortable to see them scratching. In there eyebrows and everywhere I’ve told you. This itching is crazy, like feeling things crawling all over at times. In  the areas I described you. I’m thinking on going to Walmart today to buy some permethrin or something for the chlothing. But I’m thinking I need to be more aggressive treating this. I’m willing to do anything and treat it however you advice me to get this gone.

You were diagnosed with HSV 1 - is that an oral or genital infection or do you know?  Was this an antibody test or a swab test from a lesion?
Nothing you have described for me here sounds anything at all like herpes.  The dermatologist is in a far better position to help you sort this out than I am but what I can say is that I don't believe your symptoms are in any way herpetic in nature.

I was diagnosed with hsv-2. It was a bood test, so definitely an antibodies test. It is crazy but I’ve been to plenty of dermatologist, I wish I could ignore the symptoms I’m seeing on me and others but it’s hard. I mean, I was told that i make others itch and plenty of other things. When I’m around a group of people I could feel the incomodation on them and it’s super uncomfortable. I just wish to know if this is something that could be caused due to the virus disease. Or to secondary things but I haven’t been able to treat it. Last time they game doxycycline mono. But I’m still feeling the same things. I need some light here doctor :/

So in one place on this thread, you say you were diagnosed with HSV 1 and in another, just above, you said you were diagnosed with HSV 2.  I'm confused.
If you have HSV 2, you have a genital infection and you could only infect someone else through sexual contact.  If you have HSV 1, you could infect others by kissing if you have this orally.  Your herpes infection would not cause only itching in the people around you, it just doesn't work like that.  Doxycycline is not a treatment for herpes.  I don't know what is going on with your itching or itching in the people around you but I can reassure you that it is not related to you have herpes, of either type.  I would encourage you to continue to work with the dermatologist.
