[Question #7063] Can’t ejaculate properly

Dear Drs,

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I’m very confused and I hope you can help.

For the past four days or so, whenever I masturbate (I am a Male), at the point of release, there is feeling of pressure at the tip of the penis and then only a small release of a trickle of semen. The feeling of pressure is not painful at all, but it ‘feels’ as if it is stopping the full flow of the semen. So I feel dissatisfied after the fact. I can urinate fine, and there’s no problems with the flow of urine. There’s no pain in the testes or around the groin area.  I’m not on any  regular medication like antidepressants etc. The only change was I started a new multivitamin (Wellmen brand) on the day this problem started.  I guess I have been very stressed for the past year, but that’s never had an effect before when I masturbate.
What is going on?

I’m quite worried. Thank you and apologies for the long question.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your confidence in our services. Unfortunately, however, this isn't a good resource and I can't help much. This forum is limited to STDs and HIV. Neither of these is a likely cause of the symptoms you describe, and we don't address genital symptoms not related to these problems. And I know littttle about causes and treatments of reduced ejaculate; to my knowledge, I've never had a patient with this sort of problem. I did a bit of online searching and learned there are a number of websites that address reduced ejaculate volume. Here is one of them -- I don't vouch for it, but perhaps it will help. (As you will see, the listed causes don't include STDs or any other infections.) https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/326355

If the problem persists, I would suggest contacting your primary care physician or a urologist. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Good luck.
